Hi,

The Macintosh SE did not have Ethernet as standard, but it was possible to install a network card.

It was also possible to connect an external serial modem to the MiniDIN-8 modem port. With an appropriate program (such as MacPPP 2.0.1), one could establish a dial-up connection. In addition, TCP/IP software (the MacTCP control panel) and a suitable browser and/or an email program would be needed. Please note that this would be extremely limited (in principle, simple web pages with text only).

For more information, the following could perhaps be of interest.
